LOKORO is a profit-for-purpose enterprise. Our mission is to help build thriving communities by connecting residents, businesses, non-profit organizations and businesses in a local neighbourhood. The Lokoro app is designed to facilitate social connections, local commerce and to drive positive change within the neighbourhood.

Loko Champions are community leaders and influencers who are passionate about their neighbourhood and would like to contribute to building a better and more sustainable environment where they live.  To ensure that Lokoro remains a safe and trusted platform for its users, LokoChampions go through a simple selection process to ensure they have the right motivations and fit as ambassadors of their neighbourhoods.

What does a LokoChampion do?

• Post interesting and useful content about your neighbourhood regularly on Lokoro's Buzz page

• Help more local and home businesses go digital by introducing them to Lokoro on your own time

• Initiate improvements and social initiatives in your neighbourhood

Why be a LokoChampion?

LokoChampions are community volunteers, so all your contributions can be done at your own time.  In the near future, Lokoro will organize appreciation events for LokoChampions and even profile you on the app.  As we grow, we hope to introduce more rewards to thank our LokoChampions, so stay tuned for more!
